Okay, so your boat has a side cleat located significantly aft of midships along the side of the boat

Now, how many cleats or bollards are there along your marina berth?

2 Cleats

With 2 cleats on your berth your guide line will need to span the whole berth length, either measure the length from cleat to cleat (including the cleats), or simply order for the total berth length.
We recommend our stopper buckle kit as added safety to help prevent the bow reaching the end of the berth

3 cleats

With 3 cleats on your berth your guide line will only need to span half the berth length, either measure the length from cleat to cleat (including the cleats), or simply order for half the total berth length.
If your side cleat is well aft of the centre berth cleat in the normally berthed position we recommend the use of a stopper buckle kit to help prevent the bow reaching the end of the berth .

4 cleats

With 4 cleats on your berth your guide line will only need to span one third of the berth length, either measure the length from the first cleat to the second cleat (including the cleats), or simply order for one third of the total berth length.

5 cleats

With 5 cleats on your berth your guide line should only need to span one quarter of the berth length, either measure the length from the first cleat to the second cleat (including the cleats), or simply order for one quarter of the total berth length.
Depending on exact cleat positioning and relationship it may be preferable to treat the berth as a three cleat berth and set up as above and ignore the second and fourth cleats.
It is likely in that case that you would need a stopper buckle kit to allow proper positioning of the boat.
That's how our own boat is set up
