Your selection indicates you have a twin screw vessel and intend to back into your berth stern first

Your Guideline will need to span between the first and last cleats on the berth, regardless of how many cleats are on your berth

You can either measure this distance (outside end of cleat to outside end of cleat), or order based on total berth length, eg. for a 10 metre berth order for a 10 metre span (basic + 5 metres)

When set up here's what your MoorControl can do for you

You will have a line to pick up and secure as soon as the stern of your boat is into your berth -

You don't need to stop completely to do this -

You've still got some control with your engines and the movement of the boat

Once secured - the MoorControl line holds your stern from moving away from the berth whether pushed by any cross breeze, or the thrust reaction of swinging your bow against the wind

You control the angle of the boat with the thrust of your engines, using the MoorControl line as a moving pivot point while you ease the boat into the berth

You use the thrust of your engines and the MoorControl pivot point to control the position of the boat and hold it until the other lines are secured, without the normal rush - You retain control the whole time!
